Log reactions outside of email
Not every reaction comes by email. When your customer calls you, writes on WhatsApp, sends an SMS, or replies on LinkedIn, you can capture it in Flino — so the activity timeline stays complete and Flino knows a reaction happened.
Log a reaction
Section titled “Log a reaction”- Open the offer.
- Click Log reaction (or use the actions menu).
- Pick the channel (phone, WhatsApp, SMS, LinkedIn, …).
- Type your note.
- Save.
Toast “Reaction recorded” — the event lands in the activity timeline.

Log a call
Section titled “Log a call”For phone calls there is a dedicated dialog with more structure:
- Click Log call in the offer’s actions menu.
- Pick the direction (Inbound / Outbound).
- Enter a summary (at least 5 characters).
- Optionally: next steps, date & time, duration in minutes.
- Save.
Toast “Call note saved”.
Speech-to-text during a call
Section titled “Speech-to-text during a call”The call dialog has a Speak button. You can dictate your note instead of typing — Flino transcribes it.
Prerequisite: you have granted the browser microphone permission. Without permission the button is inactive.
The Speak button (states “Speak” / “Stop” / “Connecting…”) is also available in the reaction and note dialogs. Speech recognition transcribes in German and appends the recognized text to the respective field.
Want to analyze a whole conversation transcript? See Analyze a conversation.
Add a note
Section titled “Add a note”A plain text note (without reaction context) lives in the Add note dialog:
- Click Note in the actions menu.
- Type your text.
- Save.
Toast “Note added”.
Effects on the sequence
Section titled “Effects on the sequence”When you log a reaction or a call, an active sequence pauses automatically with reason Call logged. Reasoning: if you are in active phone conversation, Flino should not push an automated email in between.
You can resume the sequence manually whenever you are ready.
What Flino derives from these entries
Section titled “What Flino derives from these entries”- Timestamp and channel in the activity timeline
- History for the AI: future reply suggestions take the call context into account
- Pause reason in the queue overview
Common error cases
Section titled “Common error cases”| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| The “Speak” button does nothing | Grant microphone permission in your browser |
| Reaction does not show as a sequence pause reason | The sequence only auto-pauses if it was active — without an active sequence, the auto-pause doesn’t trigger |
| Toast “Failed to save” | Try again or shorten the fields |
