Electronic signature

Flino accepts offers natively and electronically: your customer confirms right on the acceptance page, without an external signature tool and without a login. Depending on your setting, a single click is enough, or your customer types their name and draws a signature right in the browser.

Part of the paid plans: The name and signature modes belong to the paid plans (Starter and Pro). On the Free plan, acceptance stays a simple one-click confirmation.

Acceptance is made as a simple electronic signature. Flino does not verify your customer’s identity (no ID check, no two-factor step). For everyday B2B offer acceptance this is the usual and practical route. For cases that require a qualified electronic signature, Flino is not the right tool.

On the acceptance page your customer sees the fixed statement “I bindingly accept the present offer.” and the note “This acceptance is made as a simple electronic signature. No identity verification takes place.”

You set the mode in Settings → Email → Acceptance & signature. It applies to every offer in your organization:

ModeWhat your customer does
Acceptance only (no name)confirms with a click
Name + checkboxenters their full name and confirms
Name + optional signaturename is required, the drawn signature is optional
Name + required signaturename and drawn signature are both required

The default for new organizations is Name + checkbox.

Independent of the mode, you can make two more details mandatory:

  • Company required: your customer must also provide their company.
  • Role required: your customer must also provide their role.

Your customer can always add an email address voluntarily. The accept button only becomes active once all required fields are filled.

When a signature mode is active, a drawing field appears. Your customer signs directly with mouse, trackpad, or finger. No upload, no app, no printout.

If you enable the confirmation email to the customer in the same settings, your customer automatically receives an email after acceptance with a proof PDF (annahmebestaetigung.pdf). It contains the name, the time, and the accepted statement, plus the signature if one was drawn. You are notified as well, including the name the offer was accepted with.

Regardless of that email, the acceptance is valid the moment your customer confirms. The accepted offer version is frozen at that point, so the proof points unambiguously to exactly that document. If you create a new version afterwards, the accepted one stays unchanged.

As with any acceptance, Flino sets the offer to Won, ends any active follow-up sequence, and adds an event to the activity timeline. For the full flow and how the acceptance link is created, see Acceptance link.
