Connect Flino to your AI assistant (MCP)
With the AI connector, your AI assistant reads your Flino data directly: offers, follow-up status, customer replies, contacts, companies, and pipeline metrics. You ask in plain language (“Which offers expire this week?”), and the assistant fetches the answer itself. Under the hood the connection uses the open MCP standard (Model Context Protocol).
Access is strictly read-only: your assistant cannot create, change, send, or delete anything.
Available on paid plans (Starter and Pro). On the Free plan, the two cards are not visible in settings.
Connect in 4 steps
Section titled “Connect in 4 steps”You find the AI connector card under Settings → Integrations. Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot are supported.
- Open the connector settings in your AI assistant and choose “Add custom connector”.
- Paste the connector URL from the card:
https://mcp.flino.io/mcp - Sign in with your Flino email address. You receive a sign-in code by email; no password needed.
- Enter the code. Done: the assistant can now read your Flino data.
Important: use exactly the email address your Flino account runs on. The sign-in code comes from an @flino.io address; check your spam folder if needed.

Download the skill: ready-made workflows for your assistant
Section titled “Download the skill: ready-made workflows for your assistant”On the card, under Skill for your AI assistant, you find downloads matching your assistant: a ZIP for Claude (upload it as a skill) and a Markdown file for ChatGPT and Copilot (paste the content as instructions). The skill teaches your assistant four workflows:
- Morning briefing: new replies, due follow-ups, and offers expiring soon as a prioritized list
- Reply triage: replies grouped by classification, with a draft for your response
- Pipeline report: a management summary of your open offers
- Offer deep dive: the whole story of one offer in a few sentences, plus the next step
Access tokens for local AI tools
Section titled “Access tokens for local AI tools”For AI tools that run on your machine and have no connector dialog, there is a second card, AI assistant access (MCP):
- Click New token and give it a name (e.g. “Claude Desktop”).
- Choose the expiry: 90 days or no expiry.
- Click Create token and copy it immediately: it is shown only once.
The card also shows the MCP endpoint and the required header (Authorization: Bearer <your-token>). You can revoke any token at any time in the same card; an assistant using it loses access immediately.
Privacy and limits
Section titled “Privacy and limits”- Read-only. No tool can create, change, send, or delete data.
- Your organization only. Every access is bound to your account and your organization. If a user leaves the organization, their access becomes invalid immediately.
- Contact details stay behind. Email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, and internal IDs are never transferred to the assistant; contacts appear by name only.
- One deliberate exception: the text of customer replies is provided to your assistant verbatim so it can summarize replies meaningfully. Keep that in mind when choosing your AI provider.
- Limits: 60 read requests per minute per token. Every access is logged, without plain-text search terms.
Frequently asked questions
Section titled “Frequently asked questions”Does this work with my Microsoft account? Yes. Sign-in always works via the email code sent to your Flino address, regardless of whether you log in to Flino with Google, Microsoft, or a password.
I do not see the cards. Check your plan: the AI connection is part of the paid plans. On the Free plan the cards are hidden.
Can the assistant send emails or change offers? No. Access is read-only. At most, your assistant phrases change requests as suggestions; you apply them yourself in Flino.
