Analyze a conversation

After a phone call or meeting, Flino can analyze the conversation with AI and extract a summary, next steps, and sales signals. You find it in the Log call and Add note dialogs on the offer detail page, in the expandable Analyze conversation area.

How it works

1. In the offer, open the Log call or Add note dialog.
2. Expand Analyze conversation.
3. Paste the conversation into the Conversation transcript field — or upload a text file via Upload text file (.txt) (max. 500 KB; at least 50 characters).
4. Click Analyze now.

Flino then shows, under Extracted information, among others:

• Summary
• Signals: interest, price sensitivity, decision status and timing
• Next steps
• Objections
• Recommended follow-up strategy including a CTA

The summary and next steps fill the dialog’s fields when they are empty. If there is already text, Flino offers Replace. You can edit the dialog’s fields before saving. After saving, the analysis appears in the offer’s activities (“Conversation analyzed”). There, Edit lets you correct the summary, next steps and objections; signals and strategy are read-only.

Good to know

• The call analysis is free and does not count against your quota.
• Flino writes the analysis texts in your Default email language (Settings, Profile tab), even if the transcript is fully or partly in another language.
• Very long transcripts are truncated for analysis (internally to about 50,000 characters).
• A note you add via Add AI briefing → Quick note in Review AI context is analyzed automatically on save if it has at least 50 characters.
• This is different from the Meeting card, which detects meeting proposals in email replies.

Tip: dictate your conversation note directly with the Speak button (see Capture reactions) — you can then have the captured text analyzed.

Dictation counts against your plan’s voice minutes, the same quota as voice mode in “Ask Flino”. Paid plans include 100 minutes per billing cycle; the Free plan does not include dictation (“AI voice isn’t included in your plan.”). Independently of that, each organization can start at most 300 dictations per day. The counter resets daily at 00:00 UTC; until then Flino shows “Daily dictation limit reached. Try again tomorrow.”
